Cardinals fans were obviously not happy with the loss and it’s safe to say that Twitter was not the right place for an Arizona fan last night.

Last night, the Indianapolis Colts continued their resurgence as they convincingly beat the Arizona Cardinals 22-16. The usual suspects Jonathan Taylor and Carson Wentz were the key players for the Colts. Taylor was particularly brilliant last night as he ran for 108 yards, bringing his season total to an incredible 1,626 yards.

As good as the Colts were, one cannot the overall sloppiness and silly mistakes committed by the Cardinals. For starters, the Arizona-based outfit missed two open field goals. The Cardinals also were woeful in the red zone as well. Overall, it was a very underwhelming night for Arizona.

Arizona Cardinals and the Indianapolis Colts are possibly the most different yet similar outfits in the NFL this year. Both the teams had extreme starts to their campaign this season. While the Cardinals were high flying with an impeccable 7-0 record, the Colts were struggling at 1-4. But ever since the second half of the season, both the teams have had an extreme change of fortunes.

While the Colts have turned it around and are gunning for a playoff spot, the Cardinals seem to be drifting away with a despicable 3-5 record in the last eight games. Last night’s loss hampers the Cardinals’ chances even further. When quipped to Arizona HC Kliff Kingsbury, the gaffer hinted that the only solution is to improve. “I don’t think anybody’s looking at that, we’re looking at ourselves, looking in the mirror, and trying to figure out what we have to do because right now, it’s not good enough to be the team we know we can be.”

As expected, Arizona fans didn’t like the loss faced by their team and took to social media to share their frustration. Here are some of the best reactions of the game –
