Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen were America’s favorite couple until a few weeks ago. They mutually decided to part ways. Fans are still figuring out the exact reason behind this move; however, Bündchen’s past comments help a lot to draw a viable conclusion for it.

The duo met each other on a blind date in 2006. After spending a reasonable amount of time together for about three years, they finally got married. Since then, it has been a fairy tale for fans.

The Brazilian Supermodel has written a book in this course narrating her perspective on life and her relationship with the NFL quarterback. Bündchen explains that she always wanted someone who cares about her and respects her visions towards life.

“The last thing I wanted from our marriage was codependence. When you feel you need to save the other person. When you spend the whole time worrying about his needs to the point that they subsume or become your own.” Bündchen explains the last thing she wants in her marriage. The Supermodel doesn’t believe in overdoing things and couples dying for each other and sacrificing their dreams.

“Our marriage not only had to be based on love, respect and honesty; it had to be interdependent-where two strong people love each other but never to the point of sacrificing their own happiness or values,” she explained in her book, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.

Well, to a much larger extent, both of them had their backs throughout the journey. On several occasions, Brady was seen encouraging his wife to resume her modeling career; however, Bündchen chose to remain with family and kids and experience that part of her life.

Despite calling it a split, both of them admitted to having made the move amicably. They will foster the kids, and now Brady will have to prove his responsibilities as a great dad.

While the power couple was together, the quarterback had mentioned his gratitude towards Bündchen and her immense sacrifices. She halted a $400 million worth career after giving birth to her kids, Benjamin and Vivian. “She’s just one of the most caring, nurturing people in the world,” Brady said in one of the interviews.

“The way she takes care of our family when I’m working, sacrificing a lot of her dreams. I can only tell her I love her so much,” he added. Well, it doesn’t matter anymore as they have grown apart, sailing in different directions.
