Shilo poking fun at Deion's hand injury—proof of a strong father-son bond?

The banters don’t stop in the Sanders family. Despite being exhausted from the Big 12 media day’s flashing lights and intense interviews, the Sanders boys are not giving a break to each other. On their flight back to Boulder from Las Vegas, the Sanders boys got into some lighthearted rock, paper, and scissors challenge. It was Deion Sanders and his son Shilo’s son to get to it.

Well Off Media did the job of capturing the hilarious moment on camera which aired on July 12. In the video, Shilo was deep in thought, considering whether to play with his dad or not. Hailing himself as a ‘rock, paper, scissor’ champion, Shilo Sanders was confident in his game. Deion Sanders Jr. even attempted to crush his confidence by mentioning that he ‘already lost two games in a row‘ but to no avail. Shilo had the ultimate joke to make; using his father’s weakness in his favor, predicting his father’s move to an extent.

“I know what you’re about to do,” Shilo claimed, stating that he knew his father’s move would either be rock or paper. “You’re not going to do scissors cuz your fingers don’t work like that,” Shilo said, erupting in a laughing feat right after it, making his father laugh as well. Now, after all this, guess who won?

It was Prime. Despite his son knowing his weakness, Prime played a paper move against Shilo’s scissors, beating him on the spot. Deion Sanders is never one to let his physical shortcomings hold him back, especially when the story behind how he got them is so funny!

It dates back to when Coach Prime played in both the MLB and the NFL. Zimmer recalled a time when he and Sanders had sneaked away from their busy schedules to hit the training grounds for some football practice. Deion Sanders was catching punts. When he came back after completing a punt catch and took off his glove, Zimmer was aghast.

Deion Sanders’ third finder had dislocated during the practice, yet Prime was all chilled out about it. Zimmer even confessed that Prime asked him to ‘pop it back’. Zimmer was baffled then, and he was baffled even now when thinking about it, sending Deion Sanders into fits of laughter.
