Shedeur Sanders receives high praise for his father from the legendary Jerry Jones. The 21-year-old was spotted talking to the 3-time Super Bowl winner at a match along with Deion. Coach Prime hasn’t had the best season in his debut with the Colorado team, but Jones’ compliment will put him on cloud nine for sure.

The Colorado Buffaloes ended their season with a loss at the hands of the Utah team by a score of 23-17. Even though the Buffs saw a few glimpses of glory, they finished their season with an upsetting record of 4-8. But regardless of their disappointing performance, the fans will continue to love Coach Prime for how he changed the trajectory of the team, and it looks like Jerry Jones feels the same way.

Deion and Shedeur were spotted speaking to the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, during a match. Jones pulled Shedeur close and told him something that left both him and Deion smiling.

Jones very kindly said, “Your daddy inspired me too.” After which, Deion replied by saying, “He inspired me.” The moment seemed extremely joyous, as both Deion and Jones have been some of the greatest players of their time, and it looks like they want Shedeur to carry on their legacy. But while Shedeur has proven himself as a franchise quarterback on the field, he couldn’t seem to escape the controversies that surrounded his name throughout the season.

Why was Shedeur Sanders controversial this season?

Undoubtedly, Shedeur was one of the major driving forces behind Colorado’s wins. But a controversial move during the Arizona match stained his name for the rest of the season. The match between Colorado and Arizona ended with a close win for Coach Prime’s team by a score of 27-24. And yet Shedeur seemed to celebrate extra hard when he flexed his $70000 watch in front of the angry Arizona fans.

The move was criticized heavily by the entire NCAA community for Shedeur’s arrogance. But in his defense, the Arizona fans kept chanting “overrated” every time he’d receive the ball. Thus, as the season progressed, every team that would win over Colorado would go on to imitate the controversial celebration as a taunt to Shedeur. Currently, Shedeur is recovering from a fracture in his back, and the fans can’t do anything except hope he recovers in time to play for the team during the off-season.
