Emotions ran high at the Coliseum as Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans lost to the Washington Huskies. The 21-year-old Heisman Trophy winner was seen crying in his mother’s arms after his team lost with a devastating 48-20. Coach Jason Brown has something direct to say about Caleb Williams. 

The last loss has put the USC Trojans at 7-3, and the star quarterback weeps over the loss as their Pac-12 hopes shatter. Jason Brown is known for speaking his mind with raw comments. And that’s exactly what he did as the world shares the heartbreak of Caleb Williams’ emotional display.

Former Heisman Trophy winner and Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III posted a heartfelt message about Caleb Williams following the Washington defeat. To which, former Indy Pirates head coach Jason Brown posted his differing opinion. He posted, “How about play better and man up, you soft weirdo a**hat wearing excuse making clown!

Robert Griffin III posted that Caleb Williams gives his all in his game and that “any NFL team would be lucky to have him as their QB.” On the contrary, Jason Brown voiced his own opinion on the Heisman Trophy winner, telling him to “quit making man” and “man up.” His disappointment is clear when he further states, “I wouldn’t draft his nail polish wearing a** if he was the last QB available.

Jason Brown’s career as the Indy Pirates head coach didn’t go as he would have liked. The Last Chance U head coach faced several complications during his career, including coach/player respect issues. After his dismal 2-8 season as a head coach in 2018, he texted freshman Alexandros Alexiou that he would be his “New Hitler.” This caused a public backlash, and Jason Brown had to resign as head coach.

After losing against Washington, USC is out of the College Football Playoff mix. But they still have a sliver of hope to be in the Pac-12 if they beat both their upcoming opponents, the Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins, in their last two games. While the last game may be a sad blow to USC, it wasn’t because of Caleb Williams.

Despite the sad game, Caleb Williams accounted for 312 yards and four touchdowns. He completed 77% of his passes with 27 of 35 passes. With 2,958 yards and 28 touchdowns this season, he remains a top NFL prospect despite varying opinions.
