In the latest video, as posted on the YouTube channel “Well Off Media”, Deion Sanders has been caught in a jovial mood. With the speculations about Cincinnati Bengals’ Robert Livingston joining as the new DC for the Buffaloes, Coach Prime ensures to escalate the suspense with a light-hearted jab with Colorado’s defensive back assistant, Oliver Clear.  The coach is captured engaging in a sideline banter teasing Clear about his relationship status. 

While conversing with Clear, Coach Prime sparked laughter by enquiring Clear “Jock, You single right?” Before this statement, while the excitement about Livingston’s entry is palpable, he catches the audience’s attention by mockingly declaring Clear as the “new DC”. 

Now that the coach has channeled all the attention towards Clear, he asks viewers who are interested in the DB assistant after knowing his relationship status, to slide into his DMs. Asking him to confirm his Instagram handle, Coach Prime enquired, “Tell them what kind of woman you want. Secure?” To this, the Buffaloes’ DB assistant came with a quick reply about his criteria of wanting a partner who is “secure, loyal, honest and nice to look at”.

While sharing a laughter, Sanders ensured to cleverly surpass the looming speculations around Livingston’s entry into Buffaloes. Amidst speculations, in order to add to the public intrigue, Coach Prime addressed Clear as the “new DC”. 

Livingston emerges as DC contender

Since Charles Kelly’s departure as the defensive coach, the Buffaloes’ defensive line-up has been in dire need of a notable substitute. It was after a 3-0 start in 2023, that Sanders’ Colorado faced defensive struggles ending the season with a 1-8 record. Recognizing the need for a defensive turnaround, Coach Prime has set his sights on Livingston.

With nine seasons on the Bengals’ staff, Livingston boasts significant experience in developing elite safeties. In this regard, there are a lot of expectations surrounding him that would address the Buffaloes’ defensive shortcomings. In this manner, Buffaloes will have a competitive edge in the challenging Big 12. Livingston’s proven track record positions him as a valuable asset for the Buffaloes’ defensive revival.

With this strategic move, the reported new DC’s entry will bring a renewed defensive prowess to the team since 2016 propelling them towards a resurgence to reclaim their competitive edge.
