Buffs Nation, get set for another round of sheer thrill. The head coach of Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders, has rolled out a special offer as a massive ‘thank you’ for the commitment of the fans. Coach Prime has flipped several narratives in Colorado after coming to Boulder. The ticket sales are one among them. It was for 3 decades that Colorado struggled to sell regular season tickets. Now, even before the regular season has commenced, CU has already sold out its season tickets, extending the streak to two years.

For the die-hard Buffs fans who couldn’t get their hands on some tickets in the first window, Deion Sanders got you. All the commitment the fans have shown towards the Buffs deserved a special gift. Deion Sanders took to his Instagram to announce that for the Buffs Nation fanbase. Another chance to grab the season tickets! “Ooo LAWD! I’m so darn excited for this season u have no idea,” Sanders captioned his post making the announcement official.

“This year, man, we gotta go do it. We have addressed every darn need that we had. I only wanted an opportunity to win. To compete. To dominate. To be among the best. And darlin’, I’m going to give you that,” Sanders confidently narrated in the video. No doubt, the fans will leave the Buffs authorities full of gratitude this time, especially after such a strong promise from Prime.

“Selling out-of-season tickets for the second year in a row shows how strong our fan base is and the continued impact of and trust in Coach Prime,” CU athletic director Rick George said proudly about Sanders and Co.’s achievement. “We are ready for an exciting 2024 season and expect a full house for every game for the second straight season.” Deion Sanders might have started another streak, but will that streak cross the best-ever in the program’s history, the best-ever head coach?

Will Deion Sanders rewrite CU’s history?

Colorado hadn’t sold out once since 1996 until last season. The 1996 season also marked the last year of the seven-year streak that CU made in selling tickets out. From 1990 to 1996, there wasn’t a single year where Colorado hadn’t sold out, thanks to the legendary program coach Bill McCartney.

Under the guidance of McCartney, Colorado Buffs bloomed the best. National Championships, National Coach of the Year honors, stadiums selling out, and getting a College Football Hall of Fame induction in 2013, McCartney has said and done it all. Fans not only have a tiny expectation from Deion Sanders to break the streak, or at least match it, but also to etch a legacy like McCartney at Colorado.
