16 years of companionship makes the other part of life. As Valentine’s Week reminds folks to embrace their companions whom they cherish the most. Nick Saban is spotted holding the thing he loves the most, despite bidding his adieu to it: Alabama Crimson Tide. It was on 11th January that Nick Saban made the announcement which shattered the hearts of many, his decision to retire as the Alabama head coach. Much has evolved at Tuscaloosa after it, Kalen DeBoer making his introductory speech as Alabama’s head coach being the most major one for Nick Saban.
Yet, as it is best said: You can take him out of Alabama, but you can’t take Alabama out of him. Nick Saban proved this statement by showing his solidary support to the Crimson Tide basketball team v. Texas A&M at the Coleman Coliseum, as reported by 247 Sports’ Mike Rodak. Saban is spotted watching the game with his wife, Terry Saban. The couple was accompanied by former Alabama basketball players, including Herb Jones, Noah Clowney, Noah Gurley and Antoine Pettway, who is the head coach at Kennesaw State, standing beside the Tide bench.

That was not all, Saban also shared a speech with the men’s basketball team on Friday, as Alabama men’s basketball headcoach Nate Oats reported during the pregame Crimson Tide Sports Network radio interview. “We had Coach Saban talk to our team yesterday. Always go back to his process. Like, honestly, the more you talk about championships, the less you’re focused on what you should be doing today,” Oats said. This is clearly some Saban-imparted wisdom, reflecting off his values.
Yet, as Alabama, as well as the whole of college football, adjusts with the aftermath of Nick Saban retiring, Saban has already made hefty plans for the future.
