At Colorado Buffaloes, laziness gets benched first. Deion Sanders believes that there is absolutely no scope for slacking off. He also seems to have passed it on to his players. As captured by Well Off Media, the Buffs offensive lineman, Kahlil Benson, fills the shoes of Coach Prime as he alerts the O-line to forgo holding a chill attitude.
This is something that has now turned out to be a recurrent theme in Colorado. But now that hardworking prodigies like Benson have signed with the Buffaloes, they will ensure to tackle any couch-potato syndrome within the roster.

During practice, the offensive tackle for the Buffs, who is 6-foot-5 and weighs 325 pounds, worked extremely hard and expected his teammates to do the same. Here is where he went wrong. Unlike him, the O-line seems to drag their feet through the training. However, as soon as their coach points it out, Deion’s trooper (read: Benson) arrives at his service, taking the matter into his own hands. “They just said we going full speed but y’all ain’t doing full speed. Stop being soft man,” Benson came up with a clamor call for the Buffs O-line.
Players like Benson see laziness as disrespectful. He was left feeling upset after observing the disrespectful behavior displayed by his teammates — so much so that he raised a warning for the O-line, “Why being lazy as and that’s no respect…if y’all not going to sprint off the ball that f*cking lazy bro. That’s going to get our as* kicked…I’ll be damn with that. Y’all ain’t going to be here.” Why this threat? Despite Deion Sanders’ previous efforts to address it, laziness continues to plague the culture of the Buffaloes.

Deion Sanders’ words of motivation
Things took an ugly turn a few months ago within the Colorado Buffaloes team when a CU professor emailed Coach Prime, flagging the issue of disrespectful behavior from the Buffs. The email read, “This semester has been extremely challenging for me as a professor. I have never felt so disrespected in my 10 years of teaching. Students do not follow even minimally and it slows down my class so much they make it clear that they don’t want to be here and they have very little personal responsibility.” No wonder this half-hearted attitude came as a blow for Deion, who then gathered the Buffs and took a class.

There came Coach Prime’s formula for the Buffs: “I often have to repeat the same three and four times because student-athletes are present but not really in class. You present, but you ain’t really there. You on the field, but you ain’t doing nothing. You in a relationship, but you ain’t got no love.” The Buffs HC seems to follow one mantra to the T, which is that without hard work, one will land nowhere.
Unfortunately, Deion Sanders’ roster is far removed from deploying the hard work mindset in their day-to-day lives. But not to worry. There are some exceptions, like Kahlil Benson, who falls in line with Coach Prime’s philosophy and will ensure to turn the lazybones into frenetic fireballs.
