Breaking news! Colorado Buffaloes HC Deion Sanders has found his new son- that’s none other than Julian Lewis. At least, his other son, Shedeur Sanders, believes so. Isn’t the Buffs QB angry at it? Not even a bit. Instead, he is more than glad to pass on the QB torch to ‘JuJu’ as captured in a conversation with YouTube Vlogger Kris ‘konnxct’ Miller.

It might be because the entry of Lewis will leave Deion’s “last chance narrative” go for a toss and give him enough reasons to extend his role in Boulder. Whatever might be the case, Shedeur comes up with a $350K offer for his designated heir. 

Shedeur’s vision for legacy and Lewis’ succession 

‘Konnxct’ caught hold of Shedeur at the Big 12 Media Day. Now that Shedeur has reached the last leg of his college football career, it is obvious that Lewis’ topic will come up. And the vlogger did the honors. The big question: “As far as your legacy at CU, what do you want to leave?” Shedeur had his answer ready. Glowing with confidence, he replied, “I want to be legendary. It won’t be able to be redone again even though Julian, he may be able to take over the reigns”. 

The Buffs QB took the initiative to shoo away any jealous jitters. Instead, he flaunted confirming, “I wouldn’t be mad at that cause you know whoever’s the next quarterback which it should be Julian but um he’ll be like his new son.”

Maybe Shedeur is seeing things putting up Deion’s shoes. Now that Shedeur, Travis Hunter, and Shilo will be soon onboarding the NFL ship, Coach Prime will be returning to an empty nest. This in turn might propel the Buffs HC to say goodbye to the grind. Lewis is the last retort to overturn Deion’s “last chance narrative” even if that means taking up Shedeur’s place in the Buffs HC’s list of favorites. The Buffs QB is already pulling the classic older brother card. 

Shedeur’s grand move for ‘JuJu’

The flaming baton hand-off ceremony is already over. Wondering when? Remember the picture that Shedeur uploaded on June 24 on Instagram? With Lewis seated in the Buffs throne decked up in Colorado jersey, he was caught in a pose as if he was asking for the keys. Shedeur, standing next to him in a hoodie and denim, struck a pose that looked like he was handing the keys over to ‘JuJu’. 

But here are some regrets that reside in Shedeur’s heart. Deion’s son had no idea about the photo shoot, otherwise, he would have swapped some moves. On July 11, DNVR Sports captured the candid side of the Buffs QB. He casually expressed some regrets, “I wish if I would have known about it, I would’ve brought my — I only had my Tesla key on me — So I wish I had my lamb truck with my Rolls-Royce key.”  

Shedeur did not flinch twice before committing Julian with a $350K present. Even though the Buffs QB makes a random commitment, it is now to be seen what grand gifts the QB comes with for their favorite ‘JuJu’.
