Despite a disappointing 4-8 record last season, Coach Prime hasn’t skipped a beat. He’s been all in for the Buffs, revamping the team with new recruits and leading them through intense spring practices. But Coach Prime knows the value of a break, too. He recently took his sons on a well-deserved vacation to the Dominican Republic.

While they soaked up the sun and explored the beaches, a little adventure was mixed in. Deion even had a hilarious “tropical escape” moment when he got lost for a few hours. Luckily, everything turned out okay, and the Sanders crew returned home with renewed energy. Now, Deion emphasizes that he pushed hard to give his sons this experience, even with their luxurious home offering a daily escape.

Even for a busy coach like Deion Sanders, travel offers a chance to unwind and experience new things with his family. However, he also acknowledges the unique escape his luxurious home provides. “I love for them to experience places that they would have never experienced,” Sanders said. “You know we have all this at home right…why do we have to fly all the way across the country to experience what we experience at home?” he added.

Sanders, a veteran of the game, takes pride in the life he’s built for his children. He said to Deion Sanders Jr., “I worked my b*tt off so that….you and your siblings could have all of this. We don’t need to take a jet across the country to experience this. We experience this right at the crib.” Sitting amidst his luxurious estate, Sanders acknowledges the privilege his success affords. Not many people can call their home their ultimate escape, but Sanders can. Why would someone want to escape what they “established as a dream?” Because Deion still values the importance of exposing his sons to new experiences beyond their fancy world.
