Deion Sanders Jr. has inherited his father’s lesser known talent. While Coach Prime’s other sons have taken after their father’s football genes, Sanders Jr. is emulating Coach Prime’s passion for music. Remember the current Buffs HC’s ’90s hit Must Be the Money? Well, a recent video shows Sanders trying to recreate that magic, and he was joined by his son.

Taking a break from grueling practice sessions, Deion Sanders decided to have a jam session with his son Deion Sanders Jr. He has a new verse on a song by artist Yella Beezy that is being floated as “Must Be The Money PT. 2.” A video released by Well off Media on June 3 shows Coach Prime vibing to the song, rapping along to his verse, as he calls Deion Sanders Jr. to share the stage and tells him to play and rap. Bucky obliged at his father’s request, but it wasn’t what Coach Prime may have anticipated.

While Deion Sanders Jr. started rapping, his father looked on and got up to join him, perhaps in an attempt to sing along with his son. But Sanders Jr. stopped rapping, to which Coach Prime said, “I don’t know this. You see what I’m saying? See, he won’t do it ‘cause I’m here.”

Deion Sanders Jr. broke out in laughter as the music blasted in the recording room. Coach Prime has even dropped hints that Bucky could appear in the official music video of Must Be The Money ‘24. Interestingly, the new rap song by Sanders will also rap star Snoop Dogg, with whom Sanders shares a close friendship.

In the song, he references his time at Jackson State and how helped them to succeed and his transition to Colorado following the 2022 season. “Gave the ‘sip [Mississippi] the blueprint then moved the family to Boulder,” is the line in the last bar. During his three seasons with the Tigers, he led them to 27 victories, back-to-back Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) titles and consecutive Celebration Bowl appearances, before heading to Colorado.

Meanwhile, handling much of the Buffs’ social media presence, including the Well Off Media YouTube channel, Deion Sanders’ oldest son is also a music star and has released more than 30 songs since 2021. His latest song Iggy also proved to be a hit, despite that his latest confession may surprise people.

Bucky said he “doesn’t care about rapping”

Like his father, Deion Sanders is multi-talented. Apart from rapping, he has built a career as an entrepreneur with luxury clothing and social media ventures. He often puts up videos of Buffs training and family trips on his YouTube channel and after his latest song Iggy dropped last month, fans appreciated the talented 30-year-old.

As he shared the video from the song on Instagram, a fan commented on the post and asked him to make a music video for his previous song ‘Dolly‘, to which Sanders Jr. replied, “I just don’t really care about rapping so I just shoot vlog style music videos. We’ll make one to that though.

His work behind the scenes has been much appreciated and he may not pursue a full time music career. He may venture into multimedia and related ventures, pretty much like how his father didn’t follow through on a musical career but opted for the gridiron.

But for now Coach Prime is back in his groove and “Must Be The Money PT. 2” is here. Buffs fans will hope he can translate the same energy he showed while dancing to his song to the players in Boulder as they look to overcome a disappointing last season.
