The Michigan Wolverines stood beside Harbaugh during all his recent troubles. Yet, Harbaugh still hasn’t signed an extension on his previous contract with the Wolverines. Despite having his fair points to wait, given the stringent terms of the contract, Michigan is waiting for Harbaugh with open arms. NFL teams, on the other hand, are pulling out each trick in the book to grab his attention.

Harbaugh is being courted by multiple NFL teams for their HC position. Chargers are on the lookout for the perfect replacement for Brandon Staley. Raiders, similarly, haven’t had much coaching luck recently. Franchise owner Mark Davis is doing all he can to secure Harbaugh for the Raiders.

Mark Davis knows the perfect time to strike. Just when Dean Spanos thought it was the perfect time to reach out to Harbaugh, reports came in from the ‘Raiders Reports’ about Davis already expecting Harbaugh to consider their team, if he decides to move to the league. As per reports, “Mark Davis will have a contract ready for Harbaugh after the college football playoffs.” The reason? Davis and Harbaugh’s friendship.

The two have fostered a warm friendship for years. “Davis is basically friends with the entire Harbaugh family in Michigan.” Davis’s “backdoor communications” seems like a secure shot for him. While the franchise owner has other options as well, Harbaugh joining the Raiders will dynamize the AFC landscape. Given Harbaugh’s history with the Super Bowl, the Raiders’ questionable future needs a long-serving guiding hand. With some modifications, the Raiders rooster would be a more productive one.

Reportedly, LA holds a deep personal significance in Harbaugh’s romantic life. His wife Sarah Feuerborn and he met in a parking lot in PF Changs in LA. Before she married Harbaugh, Feuerborn was a real estate agent in LA. Hence, she is prompting her husband towards the Chargers’ offer.
