Caleb Williams, the top-ranked prospect by many experts, will begin a new chapter in his life come April 25th. Given the fact that the #1 pick is pretty much guaranteed for Williams, he is only bothered about other things going into the draft, such as his attire for the big day.

Well, they will have to wait for our answers to his D-day suit, but there is another important question we may have an answer to – his company for the draft day. The NFL draft day is a big occasion for all football players; hence, many often call upon their special ones for company. Caleb Williams hints at his plans for Draft day

Caleb Williams took to X on April 14th and announced his plans for the D-day, the annual NFL draft. He tweeted, “Wait till y’all see draft day suit and my lady’s dress. 1 of 1s 😆”. The tweet indicates that Williams’ girlfriend Valery Orellana will almost definitely be with him to bolster him on draft day.

Williams and Orellana have been dating for a little over 2 years now. Orllena is currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing Business Administration. While there aren’t a lot of public details regarding their relationship, from Williams’ tweet it’s clear they are going strong right now.

Caleb Williams’ fate at the NFL draft

Although Caleb Williams has been highly touted as the No. 1 pick with the Chicago Bears this time, Williams’ actions before the draft might have soured his chances somewhat. First, he refused to participate in the NFL Combine; and then later, he didn’t provide his medical data to all the teams. Although he isn’t alone in exhibiting such behavior as other top prospects such as Marvin Harrison Jr. also skipped the NFL combine, this may not sit well with some franchises.

Second, he has skipped a few days of his pre-draft training to spend a vacation with his girlfriend, Valery Orellana. Some analysts reason that the reason for his behavior is that he is very secure in his position at Chicago for the coming season.
