However, their recent joint Instagram post left everyone presently surprised. The couple celebrated a major milestone as they announced their engagement on Instagram. Sharing a series of enchanting photos from their beach engagement, the couple captioned the post with heartfelt words: “Me, You & Marley Forever & Ever✨🤍.”

McCarthy’s proposal was nothing short of romantic, featuring a dazzling oval-cut sparkler and the adorable presence of their beloved puppy, Marley. Throughout McCarthy’s journey in college football, Kuropas has been his unwavering supporter, cheering him on from the bleachers during his games, including the triumphant 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship where Michigan emerged victorious against the Washington Huskies. McCarthy and Kuropas’ love story began during their high school days at Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois. They started dating on October 8, 2018, when McCarthy was just a sophomore. Despite McCarthy’s transfer to IMG Academy due to the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting the football season at Nazareth, the couple’s relationship endured.
