The underdog of the Jackrabbits will witness a rise to fame after breaking a tremendous record at the NFL Combine. What’s usually a drill for the swift-footed positions like WR and QBs to dominate, for the first time ever, it was an offensive lineman that took the cake. This is Garrett Greenfield, and he is a hot topic of discussion amid all Combine talks.

To put things better in perspective, the top-10 all-time highest vertical jumps are from receivers, defensive backs, and tight ends. Gerald Sensabaugh, the former safety for the Dallas Cowboys, created history in 2005 by recording his vertical jump at a staggering 45 inches. And now, 19 years later, it is OL Garret Greenfield who’s made a name for himself by coming close to over 40 inches at the NFL Combine.

He said, “It was a great experience. I mean, I’ve been around a lot of guys who have been there since the beginning with me back in 2018. Guys that have gone through the ups and downs of wanting to get where we ended up and it was extra special to get it done with those groups of guys. To go from that championship game in Spring ball, where we lost to Sam Houston State, to winning it these past two years was just special.” Now that his time in college football has reached its end, Greenfield is surely going to have a tremendous future in the NFL as a giant among men.
