Shilo Sanders shutting down injury rumors—Is he the comeback king we need in 2024?

Remember, back in May when a random claim started floating on X that Shilo Sanders is gonna be out for “6 months” because of a “shoulder injury.” This was later debunked by NoSkoZone as false but now Shilo is back with a bold hit. With the 2024 season almost here, everyone out there is just waiting for the Buffs to fail again like last year. Many fans and haters alike are waiting for Shilo to skip this season and for the team to suffer a major hit. However, that definitely won’t be the case.

In an interview with Brain Howell, on 12th July, Shilo set the record straight. “I don’t know who wrote that, I’m not missing nothing,” the young safety stated clearly regarding the possibility of him missing out on playing for the Buffs this upcoming season. Shilo is all set to show his best for CU and so is the team. “We definitely have a better chance of winning this year than last year. More guys are hungry to go to the league,” he further added during the interview. The Buffs already have some key players on the offense, with Shedeur and Travis leading. All they needed was some work in the defense line and Deion Sanders has already improved it with Tyler Johnson, Justin Mayers, and Jordan Seaton on the team.

Although Shilo is past the injury rumors and all set to perform, he still did acknowledge the fact that the team has to do its best to grab some wins. “We still got to go out there and win,” he told Howell. Fans will wait to see what mark Shilo leaves on the field as he is already being called a “projected” first-round pick in the 2025 NFL. However, judging from how well the others on Buffs are doing, looks like this can definitely be the season for Colorado.

The 2 aces in Deion Sanders’s pocket are training harder than ever. With Travis Hunter looking big and mean with 17 more pounds on him and Shedeur Sanders getting that increase in his accuracy. The Buffs are projected to eat well this year. Shedeur has already got analysts drawing similarities between him and NFL star Geno Smith and Travis Hunter is out there making ESPN claim he’s the No.1 player in College Football because of his skills.

However, this season will not be easy. “Deion brings so many eyeballs. That everybody Colorado plays wants to beat the living crap out of them,” Andy Staples had mentioned on the live On3 show. This is a fact that Deion will have it rough. After all, all the marketing and trash-talking do come back to bite you. Every team on the board is going to treat CU as the golden duck. Either Shedeur, Travis, and Shilo are gonna carry it away and the Buffs will tremble the field or they will get shot out of the sky like back in 2023.
