The emerging sensation in college football, Trevor Etienne, was born on July 9, 2004. He has been living in Jennings, Louisiana, with his parents,  Travis Sr. and Donnetta, along with his brother Travis Jr. His dad worked in the oil industry, while his mom was a nurse. The family has always walked on the principles of hard work and education and cause of their parent’s teachings, both brothers ended up making a career playing football.

Trevor’s older brother is an NFL star, Travis Etienne, who plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a running back. Trevor has been following in his brother’s footsteps, and the two brothers, who are only two years apart, have a very special bond. “Watching Travis succeed has inspired me to chase my dreams,” Trevor said while expressing the importance of his brother in his life. Career highs of Trevor Etienne

At the beginning of his career, he attended Jennings High School, a place where he stood out as a running back, rushing for 2455 yards and scoring 34 touchdowns. His senior year was nothing short of impressive, where he recorded 1344 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. His dashing performances landed him a spot on the All-American Bowl roster. The time he spent at the high school made him a sought-after recruit, and he ultimately chose the University of Florida over offers from famous colleges like Clemson and LSU.

Right after moving to Florida, Etienne made a notable impact at Florida, rushing for 63 yards and one touchdown in his first game against Kentucky. In his freshman year in 2022, he completed 719 rushing yards and six touchdowns and got a place on the SEC all-freshman team. If we talk about his sophomore season, he showcased a career-high 173 yards against Tennessee and rushed for a total of 753 yards and eight touchdowns for the season.

At the peak of his success, Etienne decided to enter the transfer portal and announced his flip to Georgia on December 24, 2023. At the time when he was settling down at the new place, his life took a swift turn when he faced legal issues regarding a DUI arrest in March 2024. However, it got resolved later through a plea deal, and now it’s all good. With a positive mindset, Etienne said, “Every setback is a setup for a comeback.” As the 2024 season approaches, Trevor Etienne is considered to be a key player at Georgia.
