The former Notre Dame commit, Justyn Rhett, left their fans in shock with a sudden de-commitment from the Irish. The cornerback changed his decision after an official visit to the University of Georgia for the G-Day weekend. Then he joined Georgia as a defensive back, along with fellow defensive back Marcus Washington in the 2023 class. Rhett was the ninth commitment for Bulldogs and praising the no. 2 overall prospect, National Analyst Chris Singletary has mentioned in the report, “Very well built and physically developed build that has good muscle mass and definition“. 

Most importantly, having an athletic background also helped the defensive back to make the right choice of college. His father, Troy, was a cornerback for Albany, an FCS program in New York, from 1995 to 1999. Father’s guidance and support helped the young DB to boost his prowess.
