Before Rispress became part of FAMU, he had a successful period as a high school coach in Florida, establishing strong connections with local programs. Utilizing his network of connections was beneficial as he switched to recruiting for college, enabling him to attract top-tier players to FAMU. The University of Colorado honored him by appointing him as the Assistant Director of Player Personnel in recognition of his hard work. He is responsible for managing high school partnerships and maintaining a talent pipeline from Florida to Colorado in this position.

Establishing authentic connections with athletes and their families is at the core of Devin Rispress’s approach to recruiting.
