The post raised a query on whether Colorado and its staff, including Rispress, were trying to lure players from CSU Pueblo in the wrong way.

People soon noticed Vigil’s post, and Rispress responded effectively by being quick on the draw. Additionally, Devin Rispress swiftly and decisively took action by denying the allegations and stating that the conversation was fabricated. He commented on the post, “Nice try yall been catfished wrong guy brother,” highlighting that a fake conversation had misled Vigil​.
