B. J. Green, a transfer edge rusher from Arizona State, is reportedly going to visit Colorado this week, according to On3 Sports. Green initially committed to Washington last month but reopened his recruitment after former Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer’s move to Alabama. Ole Miss has also recently hosted Green and is currently in contention to recruit the four-star transfer, according to a crystal ball projection on 247Sports. Green has one year of eligibility remaining and can make an immediate impact wherever he decides to land.

Green earned a scholarship after walking on as a freshman for the Sun Devils in 2021 and showcased his prowess with five sacks in his debut season. In the subsequent year, he delivered an outstanding performance, tallying 39 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, and 11 QB hits, earning All-Pac-12 Second-Team honors. Notably, Deion Sanders was Green’s first football coach in Atlanta during his youth days and is now actively recruiting him to join the Big 12-bound Buffaloes.

B.J. Grееn’s dеcision sparks NIL clash bеtwееn Colorado and Olе Miss

There is an opening in the defensive line and the Rebels are interested in recruiting Green. This could be a game changer for Colorado and securing Green’s commitment is important. As the 2023 sack leader at Arizona State, Green could significantly bolster the Buffaloes’ defense. This is especially important given their struggles in the previous season, where they allowed an average of 453.3 yards per game. With an average of 2.25 sacks per game, the addition of a talent like Green could address their defensive concerns.
