On December 3, 2021, Berry committed to Michigan Wolverines, and on July 1, 2022, enrolled his name as a defensive back. Currently, Zeke is playing for both nickel and safety at Michigan. He considers this an enormous opportunity for him as he will get a chance to learn a lot. Additionally, the DB also said, “I feel like I’m getting a lot better at it now, just seeing the whole big picture of the formations,“.
Before 2021 Berry contributed on special teams at Michigan State as a safety and delivered three tackles. After that, in 2022 he appeared in two games and in 2023, 11 games as a defensive back for Michigan. Presently, Berry is preparing himself for a larger picture so that he can bring more success to the Wolverines in the 2024 season.
