Ty was born on December 21st, 2002, to his mom, Julie Simpson, and dad, Jason Simpson. He was raised in Martin, Tennessee. Though his parents have different nationalities, they both hold American citizenship. Julie was born in Middle Tennessee and Jason grew up in Ellisville, Mississippi; both a part of the United States.

Ty’s father, Jason American football coach currently serves as the head football coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Well, Ty has football flowing in his blood, he has got it all from his father. Not that Jason is new to this field, he has been training since the year 2006, which is almost 2 decades of training. This is visible in his skills, Jason has led the UT Martin Skyhawks, a football team of the University of Tennessee, to remarkable achievements, including two Ohio Valley Conference championships in the year 2006 and then in the year 2021. For sure, Jason would have taught Ty a lot of techniques that he might already been using and excelling on the field.

Talking of Julie, Ty’s mother, is also a great supporter of Ty, just like Jason. She is often seen attending Ty’s games in his support. During the early visits to Alabama to meet the coach and the other staff back in 2021 during an interview, Julie said that this was her first visit to Alabama, and she took her time for it. The fact that she was able to put a face to all the excitement around the name of Alabama was a great relief for her.
