Furthermore, Hill has played in 14 games, starting in six, and earned several accolades, including the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-American honors.

Also, Hill recorded 67 total tackles during his freshman season, with 40 solo and 27 assists. He also achieved 8.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, and forced one fumble.
