A four-star linebacker from Cottage Hill Christian School in Mobile is the brand-new face of the Auburn Tigers. Shadarius Toodle, the No. 3 linebacker in the nation, is seen making news after his commitment to Auburn, after which he said, “Coach Freeze is changing the program; he’s turning the program back into a national championship contender.” He then explained that Auburn’s head coach, Hugh Freeze, is preparing hard to gather the best players for the 2026 class, just like he had a big recruiting class in 2024. 

Toodle spent months considering college offers from top schools. He ultimately chose Auburn from his top ten list of Missouri, Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, Louisville, Oregon, Miami, South Carolina, and Texas A&M. He chose Auburn because he feels at home there, and his family also loves the place. This shows us how important his family is to him and how his parents and siblings are always there to support him. While playing for Mobile Cottage Hill Christian Academy, Toodle mostly played as a middle linebacker. He ended 2023 with 103 tackles and 10 sacks. He did a great job at shooting gaps and making big hits in the backfield. Toodle is also known for his ability to pick off passes in zone coverage. He is also kinda pro at playing on the other side of the football as well.
