“It’s like a family business,” Sabb said to explain his background in football. His father, even his two younger brothers, played football. So, safe to say, football runs in the family and Sabb even won a national championship for Michigan. Recently, the talented No. 7 prospect overall, joined Alabama Crimson Tide as a Safety. Interestingly, he had liked to play safety at the collegiate level.

The fourth-ranked overall player in the football world mainly inspired by his father. Moreover, his athleticism and instincts quality as a defensive back grow speedily due to his athlete family culture. “My uncle played in college, played pro overseas,” Sabb said. Keon Sabb’s parents’ contribution to his success

Sabb was born and raised in Glassboro, New Jersey where he started playing football at Glassboro High School for two seasons. Additionally, he also played a season at neighboring Williamstown High School and his father has been standing by his side through it all for a hard nut to crack. Sabb’s father, Antoine Sabb, is the director of the Glassboro Boys and Girls Club as well as the Books and Basketball Academy. To add to the achievements, he is also a coach! His father played with the Colts linebacker as well as Gary Brackett at Glassboro High School. Most importantly, Coach Sabb is the founder of the Rise Youth Group. To addi to this, the three-sport athlete’s two younger brothers, Xavier and Amari, are also dynamic players in football.

When Keon chose IMG, his father said “It’s a marathon, not a sprint — a lot of peaks and valleys. He’s gotten a lot better as the years went on, but his love for the game is what supersedes anything.” by praising him. Hence, his father has been the ultimate support system of Alabama Safety. But there’s no publicly available information about Keon’s mother. As per the scenario, it reflects that Keon will continue to tap into his football roots for years to come with the support of his family. 

Keon Sabb’s future with Alabama Crimson Tide

The top-ranked athlete played 14 games last season for Michigan. Additionally, he was the CFP national champion. Sabb believed that his basketball experience helped him a lot to catch the eyes of Alabama coaches and fans. Moreover, his father’s guidance and family support helped him become a dominant force on the football field. 

After entering the NCAA transfer portal, Sabb has enrolled as a safety for Alabama. By going through the history of stellar performers, it seems like Keon potentially meets the need for safety for Alabama, after Caleb Downs left through the portal last month for Ohio State. On a recent note, Alabama offered Xavier and Amari, Sabb’s two younger brothers. Hence, it seems like Keon’s future with Alabama is becoming more strong.
