Teine, the mother of Oklahoma DL, has had a tremendous impact on shaping his character. After every game, she expresses her support and love for her son by posting delightful pictures and captions on her X account. The most important thing to note in those pictures is Jackson’s support system. However, the athlete was born in Bradenton, FL, and attended IMG Academy High School from where his football journey began.

I had no structure, had no time management, was consistently being lazy and here and there. I didn’t have a routine. So going there, the structure, the routine, everything, it shaped me to who I am now.” Jackson said, praising the decision to go to the IMG Academy. Moreover, he continued, “I feel like if I was at a different school, it wouldn’t be the same outcome, just what they do. The journey from IMG Academy to Oklahoma Sooners

Jackson ended his high school career as a 3-star prospect by On3 and became one of the nation’s top interior defensive line prospects. On July 13, 2023, Jackson committed to Oklahoma and on January 16, 2024, he enrolled his name as a defensive lineman. On choosing Oklahoma over Miami, Florida, Ohio State, and Texas, the star athlete said, “I don’t even see them as coaches. They’re actually pretty close. I’m pretty sure I and my family see them as another family member, another part of our family.” Additionally, he said, “It’s funny, everything was working against Oklahoma but they really checked off every box I was looking at.” Currently, the Oklahoma DL was a standout at the Polynesian Bowl National Combine and now preparing himself for uplifting team spirit.
