Jalen Oluwaseun Isaiah Milroe was born on the 13th of December, 2002, in Katy, Texas. Born to Quentin and Lola Milroe, Jalen grew up with two other siblings in a household where he was always expected to be on his toes. His father, Quentin Milroe, served as a US Marine in Iraq, while his mother has a background in the Navy.

Due to their commitments to their country, the Milroes’ have relocated frequently. They have lived in California, Maryland, and Houston before ultimately establishing roots in Texas. This explains Jalen’s early years when he and his father shared a special connection with the Longhorns and the Texas culture.

However, things took a drastic turn with young Jalen’s potential being scouted by the legendary Nick Saban himself. After Saban’s call for him in Alabama, Milroe proved to be a valuable asset for the Crimson Tide on many occasions. While Milroe had committed his allegiance to Texas, one pivotal call from Saban changed everything for him and his family. His impressive high school stats, where he tallied 3,825 passing yards, 559 rushing yards, and 53 total touchdowns, leading Tompkins to over 30 wins in three seasons, were enough for Saban to believe in his abilities. Milroe attended Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas. As a junior, he threw for 2,689 yards and 29 touchdowns, adding eight touchdowns rushing and 378 yards.
