Is Isaiah Hamilton the next big thing for Ole Miss, thanks to his family's unwavering support?

Since the 2021 season has ended, Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss HC, lost both of his starting cornerbacks, Keidron Smith and Deane Leonard, which cost Rebels in the 2023 season. That is why Ole Miss was in dire need of cornerbacks during that period. After plenty of trial and error, Ole Miss figured out their confident CB, Isaiah Hamilton. Hence, the cornerback found himself in an ideal situation at Ole Miss.

Born in Channelview, TX, Hamilton attended Channelview High School and his football journey also began from that place. In high school, Hamilton played basketball too. As a junior, he played 13 games and caught a total of 8 interceptions. Conversely, as a senior, in 6 games he recorded 11 touchdown receptions. After playing three seasons in Channelview, he joined UH, as it was Hamilton’s dream school.

Now, moving to his personal details, the three-star athlete’s nickname is Zae; without football in his free time, Zae likes to do acting, gaming, and travel. The ballhawk player might be coming from an athlete’s family as his uncle ran track for Texas Southern as well as won a track championship. Most importantly, he shared that Odell Beckham Jr. was his sports hero, as that guy always beat the odds against him. Starting in 2022, Hamilton played three seasons at Texas Southern and played 17 games with six interceptions. After that, he joined Huston as a mid-year enrolled and played 12 games as a cornerback in 2023. Moreover, he ranked 19th nationally for his remarkable performance and ranked seventh among Big 12 cornerbacks during his tenure at UH.
