Eli is not the only college football player in his family; he also has a twin brother, Will. The twins are called the Mostaert Monsters. The Mostaert twins are, without a doubt, monsters on the NDSU defensive line. The twins’ parents are Troy and Tracey Mostaert. Eli also has a sister, Riley. The family has been actively engaged in his athletic development, providing encouragement and guidance throughout his career.

Eli hails from Lakeville and has been passionate about football since high school. He is amazing on the field with his twin Will. Nothing passes this duo’s defense on the field. His talents are often recognized, and he was named a HERO Sports sophomore all-American.

He stands at 6-foot-3, weighs 287 pounds, and dedicates his hard work and passion for football to his parents. “They’ve been with me every step of the way, and I wouldn’t be where I am without them,” Eli said. The twin and teammate, Will, is supportive of Eli. From the start, Will has been there with Eli and said, “But it’s good for us to push each other and be right next to each other and know we can lean on each other when we need to.”
