Drew Allar, a five-star recruit at Penn State Nittany Lions, has the potential to be among the top 10 picks for April. Allar will focus on showing consistency and asserting himself as a dual-strength threat. The quarterback will undoubtedly be under pressure after a not-so-great 2023 season.

Allar only became a starting quarterback for Medina High School as a sophomore. He has put in the hours and done the work and ended up being a five-star recruit. Drew Allar’s family background

The family has had season tickets for Cleaveland Brown since the 1960s. Drew grew up idolizing Brown’s star players. In the Allar household, there’s a Christmas joke that being naughty means getting Pittsburgh Steelers gear from Santa. Hence, when a five- or six-year-old Drew received a “terrible towel,” the gear associated with the Steelers, Drew started “sobbing,” claiming, “But I have been good.” The family also has a dog named Ozzie, after Ozzie Newsome, who played tight end for the Cleaveland Brown.
