Controversies can ruin the reputation of athletes, resulting in a decline in their promising careers. It happened with the Tennessee wide receiver, Bru McCoy, who is also known as Horace “Bru” McCoy III. The controversy occurred regarding domestic violence on his ex-girlfriend. However, because of a lack of evidence, the charges were eventually dropped. But after this incident, USC refused to reinstate the star-athlete.
The time was hard for the five-star wide receiver. The tragedy did not end there. After USC, he joined volunteers and had a fracture-dislocation of his right ankle while playing against South Carolina. However, throughout his ups and downs, his family was there to give him moral support. Let’s delve deep into the family background of the five-star prospect.
