Born on March 11, 2004, in Leesburg, Virginia, Benjamin attended Brophy College Preparatory and he played the Polynesian Bowl at that time. Hence, at a very early age, the star CB was clear about his passion for football. Most probably, the rising star was influenced by his esteemed parents, Darryl Morrison and JoAnn Morrison. Darryl was a 6th-round draft choice NFL player of the Washington Redskins. Additionally, the cornerback’s father spent four seasons with the NFL and he recorded 165 tackles with one interception. On the other hand, Morrison’s mother JoAnn has a huge contribution to nurturing and shaping the journey of Notre Dame’s Star CB.

Morrison is not a single child in the family as he has four siblings, and the most interesting fact is that all of them pursue their careers in the sports world. His brother Sammy (Samuel) played football at Arizona and San Diego State. Conversely, Morrison’s two sisters, Faith and Naomi, are gymnasts at Washington and Michigan. Along with that, his other sister, Grace, is a volleyball player at Appalachian State. It seems like a legacy deeply rooted in sports of the Morrison family and now Benjamin takes the charge to carry the torch of his family’s remarkable journey through his performance.

The journey of Benjamin in the football world

Benjamin started his collegiate debut at Notre Dame in 2022 as a true freshman and he finished the season with 33 tackles. Additionally, he earned several titles that season such as True Freshman All-American, first-team All-Independent, and Independent Cornerback of the Year. After that, in the 2023 season, he was placed on the Jim Thorpe Award watch list and named a semifinalist. Notably, as the season progressed the performance of Morrison has placed him firmly in the spotlight. That is why currently the star CB is focusing on preparing himself for the next fight and it is expected that he will make remarks in the path of a football field with his own feats.
