To be committed to an amazing team like Kentucky Wildcats, you have to be more than just an athlete. You need the main foundation of knowledge and unfiltered love and support. And where does one get this love and support from? The mother and father.
And for Barion Brown, it was his parents, Shamika Brown, and his father. Born on December 12, 2003, in Nashville, Tennessee. Barion attended Pearl-Cohn High School, where he not only excelled in football but also made a name for himself in track, winning state championships in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash.

Although not everything is available regarding the career of his parents, it is still known that Shamika has always been supporting her son through it all. During a visit to Alabama, Shamika told BamaOnLine, “I like it. They know how to show hospitality. They’re nice; they were sweet. If we needed anything, they helped us.” Her love for Alabama’s hospitality was clearly visible however, she still respected her son’s choice more. “Barion enjoyed himself. And they got my vote. But you know it’s up to my son,” she said. This little gesture shows that even though she wants the best for her son, she still does want to respect his wishes more.
