Deion Sanders, the coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, will be celebrating his win today. The 56-year-old coach is one of the most influential figures in the NCAA right now. Sanders is the Buffs’ best shot at leading the team to a championship win this season if the consistency is maintained well.
Sanders’ team played the Arizona State Sun Devils this past Sunday and were able to upstage them by a close score of over 27-24. While the Buffs have been performing well this season, their game against Arizona State would not make Coach Prime the happiest coach on the field.

After the match, Deion Sanders took to the post-match interview and gave his harsh opinions on his team’s performance. He said, “Wonderful win, played like hot garbage. Sick of it. I’m trying to figure this out because I’m sick of it. I’m happy with the win but I’m not happy with the fashion of the win. We’re better than that.” Sanders’ frustration is justified as the Buffs’ performance has been degrading in their past few games.

While Shedeur’s father didn’t seem too happy with his performance, his mother, Pilar Sanders took to Instagram to congratulate her son. Shedeur Sanders posted a reel where he was seen walking towards the Arizona fans and flexing his $70,000 worth watch as a response to them constantly chanting “overrated.” Pilar commented under his post saying, “My baby DROP IT ALLLLLLL ON EM BABEEEEEEEEW YEAHHHHH #perfecttimin #SS2legendary #proudmom.” Thus, clearly showing her excitement that was absent on Deion’s part. While Coach Prime seems like a harsh judge to his players, it is clear that he is determined to achieve the goals for the team that he set forth at the start of the season.

The Buffs had an amazing start to the season when they defeated the TCU Horned Frogs in an unexpected victory. They proceeded to win 2 more consecutive wins under the guidance of Sanders until they faced a staggering defeat at the hands of the Oregon Ducks. The last 2 games have been unfortunate for the Buffs’ but it’s clear that they’re one of the favorites to take the championship in this year of the NCAA.
Sanders signed with the Colorado Buffs this year on a 5-year extension contract. As soon as he arrived, the critics were quick to label him as “just another celebrity coach” but Sanders gave them all a befitting reply with his team’s performance. He was able to lead the Buffs to three consecutive wins at the start of the season as a debut coach, thus setting the precedent for the glory that would follow. Thus, he is an inspiration to his fans, and they have high hopes for the 2 time Super Bowl winner.
