Unfortunately, fans will have to wait till 2026 to see Arch in the NFL draft. Which will only happen after his junior season in 2025. This is because of an NFL rule that requires players to spend at least three years in college before joining the league. Although Manning joined Texas in 2023, he played as a backup to Quinn Ewers in his first year. However, if he decides not to continue in Texas for all three remaining years, he will still remain eligible for the 2026 draft.
Manning was playing at Isidore Newman School during his high school. Leading his team to a 26-point win in his debut in 2019. He ended the season with 2,509 yards and 34 touchdowns, earning the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year.

For his junior season in 2021, Manning was known as the starting quarterback. Throwing for 1,841 yards and 26 touchdowns, he made a good impression. His senior season was very special for him as he led Newman to a victory over Pearl River by throwing for 356 yards and seven touchdowns in a 59-7 victory. He broke Eli’s career record of 7,268 career passing yards and Peyton’s record of 93 career touchdowns.
Manning’s grandfather, Archie Manning, was also a great athlete and a star player, earning two Pro Bowl selections during his NFL career. Sadly, Cooper Manning, father of Arch, could not play in the NFL due to spinal stenosis.
