The mother-daughter duo is rocking it again! Since Shelomi Sanders has found a new home in Alabama A&M, she is spending more and more of her off-field time with her mother. A rumored part of the reason was her once unresolved issues with her father. Deion Sanders called Shelomi Sander’s move to leave Colorado “stupid.” Why? “You kinda get a team [to join] before you enter the portal.”

Coach Prime’s remarks understandably didn’t go down well with his daughter or ex-wife, Pilar Sanders. They prompted Shelomi to give him the cold shoulder, at least in the public eye. However, per a video released by The Pregame Network, Deion Sanders took on Shelomi for a game of Corn Hole at the Boulder campus. After several rounds, the smiles on their faces and the back-and-forth banter indicated that there were no creases between them.

Since the feud between them is now resolved and Deion Sanders is seemingly back in his daughter’s good books, Pilar Sanders is now drawing the line and showing never-ending love for her daughter, too. In a recent Instagram post, Pilar flaunted her shopping spree with Shelomi, asking her to buy her clothes in a size that fits Pilar, too. The reason was pretty simple: all for one and one for all.

Captioning the post, “I love the switcharoohs! What’s yours is mine,” the exchange between them was quite hilarious. Well, the exchange between Pilar and the camera was. Pilar pointed the camera at Shelomi, prompting the Alabama A&M Bulldogs guard – who was holding a hoodie – to say, “Should I buy a large?” Her mother replied, “Yeah, those are cozy. Mediums aren’t cozy.” Pilar turned to the camera and said, “‘Cause I’ll be wearing them.” That said, while Pilar intended to share her clothes with her daughter and vice versa, fans didn’t miss how she subtly showed that she and Shelomi have an unbreakable bond, especially since Deion has been amending his ways.

When Deion had called Shelomi’s “stupid,” Pilar Sanders was fuming over his words. She even went to the extent of making favoritism claims against him in her YouTube video, saying, “It’s not stupid. What’s stupid is the comment. Shelomi has taken the lead of her own life. Why should she be called stupid for finally taking a stand, putting those big girl pants on, and starting to make a way for herself?” She disagreed that children have to always follow their parents. Instead, she supported the idea that Shelomi could now make her own decisions.

The switch to Alabama came with its fair share of drama. So much so that Deion and Pilar were in a very public disagreement over it for a while. When Coach Prime called Shelomi’s move “stupid,” he also said, I am the leader of the family. So, I’ve been dictating where my kids go. They’re not dictating where I go.” And this was another thing that didn’t sit well with the mother-daughter duo. Since Shelomi only got to play for 11 minutes last season at CU, it makes sense for her to transfer.

While Deion criticized the move, Pilar was cheering for her daughter following her move to SWAC basketball to work with the newly hired head coach, Dawn Thornton. Pilar Sanders, once again, took to her Instagram to update her fans about her lastborn honing her game through the intense workout sessions.

“Keep backing them down, baby!” Pilar wrote in the caption. She also showered her with words of encouragement as she captioned one of her stories, “You have the courage, confidence, strength, and character to go anywhere, the drive to be the best and WIN. So happy you’re not settlin.'”

This is the third program Shelomi Sanders has played with after her stint at Jackson State and Colorado. With three years of eligibility remaining, Shelomi Sanders is expected to make it big in A&M.
