Schefter had to be the best one in the line to be aware of the behind-the-scenes of Harbaugh’s plunge. The NFL Insider has been a go-to source for all Harbaugh: NFL or NCAA updates. Hence, during the Dan Patrick show, Schefter was equipped with words when inquired about the possibility of Harbaugh accepting the Chargers’ head coaching position. However, per Schefter, things won’t be too ready-made for the Chargers if Harbaugh were to accept the job.

“It’s not that simple. What about everything else that comes along with it?” was the straightforward question of Schefter. Speaking from Harbaugh’s point of view, he stated, “Because before I commit to making a jump to the NFL, I want everything to know that everything is in place that I need to succeed at the next level, the wind I’ve succeeded everywhere during my coaching career. If you can change everything that I want, and everything that I need, and you’re offered me the job, then I say yes.”
