The Michigan Wolverines has won the CFP national championship title and have replied to all of their naysayers. With everything that comprised the off-field controversies and the allegations, the side pulled through and won the title. To go from one of the darkest months in college history to winning the national championship title, it’s a story in itself!

Now as Jim Harbaugh, Blake Corum, and Will Johnson joined the media, a day after winning the national title, they were asked about the off-field distractions. Harbaugh being the cool and calm man responded that his team was innocent and shared his views. Here’s what the HC had to say about his team overcoming the controversies and staying focused on their collective goal.

The Michigan Wolverines have won the national title and have given a template for other teams to follow. However, more than the on-field challenges, the team had to counter several off-field battles. When asked by the media how the team kept its mind off distractions, Harbaugh responded with stern words. “People asked how we dealt with distraction. And that one of the ways we dealt with it um we knew we were innocent so we uh stood tall, upright.”

Jim Harbaugh stressed that his side was innocent and moved on from the off-field accusations. Jim Harbaugh is a tough character and doesn’t crumble in tough situations. A tough cookie, he answered that question with a smile after being served a three-match ban following the accusations last November. Now months later with a national championship title in his bag, the HC has answered all the allegations and a celebratory tattoo.

How did the Wolverines annihilate a rampant Huskies side?

Michigan Wolverines came into the game with a touch of confidence as they breached past the playoffs in a long time. Right from the get-go there was just one team that surged ahead, the Wolverines came prepared. The side never gave any whiff of an opportunity to the opposition.

They brought their best to the NRG stadium and tied down the biggest threat Micheal Penix Jr. The QB was flustered and didn’t find any vacant spaces to make touchdowns. Wolverines began the 1st quarter in a resounding fashion, gathering a 14-3 lead that only extended as the game progressed. In the end, it was Michigan’s offensive line that made all the difference as the Huskies could manage just one touchdown to narrow the lead.
