Julian Lewis’ official visit to USC was praised as “phenomenal” by his father, but it seems that it didn’t convince some highly regarded five-star linemen such as Justus Terry and Isaiah Gibson, who chose to withdraw their commitment from Lincoln Riley’s program. Against this backdrop, the CU Buffs’ hopes soared as the five-star QB made his last official visit with Deion Sanders in Colorado.

For long, Coach Prime and Colorado have been hot on the trail of this standout prospect who has also met with several other programs, including his committed school, USC, and Auburn, among others. And now that he’s back in Boulder, he’s bringing hope to the Buffs nation. Would everything turn out as Colorado is hoping for?

Lewis is on his third visit to Boulder this year, which is the last before he announces his decision. The Carrollton HS star quarterback is not only the best potential replacement for Shedeur Sanders, but his talent is also going to be a huge weapon in changing the fate of Colorado. He already has a proven HS record completing 283 of 432 passing attempts for 4,118 yards and 48 TDs. But while his future remains uncertain, one Buffs insider is boldly confident that the Buffs are already signing their next players.

Two days before Julian Lewis’ official visit to Colorado slated for June 21, Colorado’s recruiting assistant Alexeys Ellis made a bold statement involving the star quarterback. Ellis said, “We got a lot of high schoolers that’s going to be here. Hopefully, I’m not going to say Hopefully, this will be our next Buff players for the next year.”

However, unlike the USC de-commits, Julian Lewis has revealed that he’s “still with USC” as he said, “Everything is still the same. I’ve been committed for a long time, and I don’t plan on changing that right now.” This view poses a challenge for Colorado if they’ll be able to flip his commitment. But one hopeful piece of information is that Julian Lewis and Shedeur Sanders already have a great bond. Do you think Julian Lewis could bring invincible hope and joy to the Buffs nation by committing to Colorado?
