Last season, the Colorado Buffaloes, led by Coach Prime, aimed to bounce back from a disappointing 1-11 record. Despite a promising 3-0 start, including a victory over the previous season’s national championship runner-up (TCU), the team stumbled to a 4-8 finish. While the ending was tough, Coach Sanders sees it as a valuable learning experience for his squad.

With the Buffaloes entering the Big 12 conference, they face even tougher competition. Deion has big plans to prepare his team as he’s making waves with NIL deals and boosting locker room morale to ensure his players are ready. Recently, the head coach took to Instagram, promising a sold-out spring game as he wants to bring energy back to Buffs Nation.

Deion Sanders recently ignited excitement on Instagram, sharing photos of intense Buffs practice sessions. His powerful caption read: “We Working, We ain’t Twerking!” He continued, “I’m so proud of the staff, the players, and our fanbase. We will sell the Spring Game out, and the whole weekend of festivities will be EPIC! Our players are working their b*tts off to be the best they can, and our coaches are leading on and off the field.”

The spotlight’s on Coach Prime and his Buffs as they gear up for their spring football game on April 27. They’re turning the weekend into a huge celebration. Lil Wayne is all set for an extravagant concert, plus there’s a talent show with celebrity judges and big cash prizes. Meanwhile, on April 26, fans can even have dinner with Coach Prime and his star player at a fundraiser hosted by the 5430 Alliance. Now, the head coach is pulling out all the stops as he competes with the NFL Draft by holding exciting events simultaneously.

But ticket sales for the spring game are reportedly slow, with “just over 18,000” sold. Last year, almost 50,000 fans came out to see Deion Sanders’ debut due to the hype he created. The team’s disappointing season last year seems to be hurting ticket sales. But Coach Prime isn’t giving up — he’s working hard to fill the Folsom Field and make the event a success. Can the Buffs’ event live up to the hype? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
