In a recent YouTube upload on C4, the Colorado Buffs two-way star gets a spotlight in Madden 25. Travis Hunter is among the top players in the first 10-year Madden Realistic Rebuild who’ll be added as a weapon in the Carolina Panthers roster, which is currently among the worst in Madden NFL. The Panthers traded their top draft picks to secure an “undersized QB who, to his credit, had zero supporting class last year.” Even so, with consistent belief in the skills and capabilities of QB Bryce Young despite his sad NFL start, they look to develop him by pairing some of the best WRs. Per the video, their aim is “drafting the most electrifying player in college football and a position change that gave us a man that will forever be known as the superweapon.” The plan for the 2024 NFL Draft is to draft Brian Thomas Jr. while Travis Hunter is a top choice for the 2025 NFL Draft to take the hardest Madden 24 rebuild to transform them into a dynasty.

Travis Hunter is truly an upcoming NFL player to keep an eye on. After averaging 119 snaps in the 2023 season, Travis Hunter won the Paul Hornung Award, finishing second on the team with 57 catches for 721 yards and five touchdowns. So, it’s no wonder he’s stealing the hype in the Madden NFL 25 lineup. But EA Sports also sees him with a possible rating of 99.
The EA Sports College Football 25 is due to be released in the summer, and according to former Georgia football QB Aaron Murray, Hunter deserves a 99 rating. He said on Snaps, “I think the only person to me that 100%, 100% this person deserves the ranking of 99: Travis Hunter, Colorado. He’s a freak athlete. The best DB by far… Would be the top DB in the draft this year and he could play both ways. Probably play special teams too. So Travis Hunter is my for sure lock. If there’s going to be a 99 guy it’s going to go to him.” What do you think about him with a 99 rating?
