The hush-hush game has been going on for a while now the Colorado Buffaloes’ multi-day extravaganza featured rap idol Lil Wayne as the center of attraction. It came out to be accurate, but Shedeur rapping on the stage with Lil Wayne struck the Buffaloes fans by surprise.
However, the surprise amazes the fans since they were lucky enough to witness a jam-packed session between the Lollipop rapper and their young quarterback sensation. While fans took Shedeur’s hint to be performing with the rapper as a hoax, Deion Sanders’ son comes off as a man of his word.

It was all about rain, cold, and soggy at the spring game Saturday at Folsom Field. In an attempt to add a touch of warmth, the Buffaloes planned to put Lil Wayne on stage. Shedeur dropped in some of the latest beats to assist the rapper on stage. As posted by CU Buffs’ official Instagram account, good time seems to roll in Boulder. The post’s caption appreciated the quarterback’s magnificent sense of timing, “Colorado Football Star QB Shedeur Sanders performs his song Perfect Timing for the first time, opening up for Lil Wayne.”
A week or two back, he revealed the chance of hitting the stage while in conversation with his brother, Deion Sanders Jr. Well Off Media captured the conversation, where on being coaxed by Bucky Jr. to perform with the rapper, Shedeur replied, “I’m performing. I just can’t be one-hit wonder up there, though. I can’t only have one song and get off stage.” Like on stage, the star of the spring games appeared to be Shedeur, who went all over the field.

Shedeur becomes the star of the field
Even though Saturday didn’t feature beautiful weather, the Buffs put in their best efforts. They unofficially ran 53 plays during roughly an hour of scrimmage time. Shedeur ensured to check in on every aspect. Bringing out his chemistry with two-way standout Travis Hunter on the field, the quarterback completed 10-of-14 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Besides Hunter, Shedeur connected with transfer LaJohntay Wester for a 19-yard touchdown to conclude the first series of the day. After the spring games, he spared some time to share his experience, “Yeah, the weather wasn’t the best for what I like to do: throw the ball. So it was definitely tough out there, but we fought through it.” Being the most-sacked quarterback in the country last year, Shedeur was tagged with just one on Saturday and looked sharp in front of a respectable crowd.
Hence, it seems that Coach Prime’s retooling strategy with the offensive line in focus gave outstanding results. Shedeur, being the happiest man right now, chose to seize the moment of celebration and added to the vibe of the post-spring game with Lil Wayne.
