The long-awaited updates are finally here! Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders had an unforgettable baby shower that they’ve eagerly anticipated since she announced her pregnancy earlier this year. It was only on July 9 that the expecting mama announced “A Star Is Born,” a pool-themed baby shower, on Instagram.

Five days later, the couple is already living their baby shower dream in their Atlanta mansion, which they recently bought to welcome their baby boy. Before unpacking a huge surprise, Jacquees gave the fans a sneak peek at their decoration before they revealed it through proper posts. On his Instagram story, Jacquees shared a video of an enormous sign reading “Baby Que” beside the pool, with music blaring. The decoration was complemented by black, gold, red, and white balloons, in addition to the pool. The unseen shots from Deiondra and Jacquees’ maternity shoot lined the walls of their house.

They even had cakes named “A Star Is Born,” taking center stage on their food table. The other sweets were also accented with pink and blue with the title, with a microphone and other musical prompts attached to them. It heightened Jacquees’ excitement about meeting his baby boy soon, especially after Deiondra Sanders announced she would give their baby his last name, adding to the anticipation of the baby’s arrival.

Deiondra’s mother, Carolyn Chambers, her brother Shilo, and Deion Sanders Jr. attended the event. However, Coach Prime was nowhere to be seen. Even Jacquees’ mother, Sharon Lawson, was present. She had to be since her son was about to make the biggest announcement of his life.

Jacquees proposes to Deiondra Sanders

Fans expected everything from tear-jerking moments to the Sanders swaying to the music in the baby shower. However, shocking everyone at once, Jacquees did the unexpected. He got down on his knee and proposed to Deiondra Sanders with a princess-cut diamond band. His story was that holding Deiondra’s hand with a sparkly diamond ring adorning it was the highlight of Sanders’ baby shower.

Deion Sanders and even Deiondra have yet to post about or react to the engagement. However, one thing was clear from Jacquees’s videos: Deiondra, clad in a white pearl-and-diamond-accented dress, was enjoying every bit of the surprise her now-fiance had planned for her. In the pictures that their relatives have shared, Deiondra is spotted proudly flaunting her princess-cut band.
