A mother who’s soon to welcome her son’s first cries will do so with a ring on her finger and as a beautiful bride. After months and months of friction from the public, Deiondra and Jacquees are set to embark on the journey of a lifetime. While earlier they would’ve only been parents without being married, Jacquees’ recent proposal has changed that about their lives as well.

Back when the pregnancy was first announced in March this year, Deiondra looked to be evidently nervous as she went to the doctor to learn more about her body. With no second thoughts about the situation, Deiondra was ready to be a mother without setting expectations from Jacquees to go down on a knee. Even with all the backlash against the couple, she stood firm as a rock and continued to support her baby daddy and the child that is almost here in the world. But it’s like a rainbow shone in the Sanders’ home and prompted Jacquees to step up and be a husband, along with a father, which left Deiondra dumbfounded as she proceeded to lift her jaw from the ground.

Deiondra was absolutely shocked by Jacquees’ proposal

Deiondra took to Instagram to shut down all the hate she’s been getting for having the baby out of wedlock with an Instagram post on 15th July that announced her engagement to Jacquees. It’s been a long time coming, but Jacquees finally ended up choosing Deiondra as his wife-to-be for the rest of their lives and the daughter of Coach Prime couldn’t be happier. From riding against the waves of cheating allegations on Jacquees to now having a baby together along with an engagement, the couple has come a long way and Deiondra’s post summarizes it all.

Deiondra was seen showing off the stunning wedding ring that Jacquees proposed to her with and wrote a lengthy caption to address their journey together. Deiondra started the caption with a clapback, saying “Baby momma who?” in response to the endless scrutiny she had faced, and then went on to commend the King of Pop for his sense of commitment. An excerpt from the caption was, “I am so ecstatic. I was not expecting this at all. I don’t even gotta say much cause we both know what’s up. 🤞🏾I know this took a lot of courage, honesty, letting go of fear, epic nerve and self assurance. I am so proud of you and I will be here every step of the way to help you become the man God intended you to be💕” Thus, it’s definitely a momentous time within the Sanders family as good fortune continues to favor them despite their share of shortcomings in the past.  One of the ridiculous doubts that are persisting among the fans currently about their newly formed union is that Jacquees is only marrying Deiondra since he desperately wants the baby’s last name to be ‘Broadnax’, and not ‘Sanders’.

Did Jacquees only propose to ensure the baby has his last name?

This is the conspiracy that is currently making the rounds on social media ever since the engagement was revealed to the public. Before the engagement ever occurred, there seemed to be a bit of a tense atmosphere between Deiondra and Jacquees about whose last name would go on record. Since the child was being born out of wedlock, the son didn’t need to have only his father’s last name, as is the norm and that’s exactly what Deiondra’s argument also stated.

In a conversation between the two, people heard them arguing about the potential last name of the child. Jacquees proposed the idea that if it were a boy, he’d be named Junior, to which Deiondra had an immediate disagreement. She countered the idea by saying, “But Sanders Broadnax is not a junior, right? That’s not gonna happen, ’cause I’m not married. So my last name is going as well.” This heated interaction led several to speculate that the topic of the last name is a sour subject between the lovers. Plus, now that they’re engaged, a lot of the fans have been alleging that Jacquees is proposing to her to ensure that ‘Broadnax’ legacy continues instead of the ‘Sanders’ name, which although it sounds petty and immature, could be one of the factors that could tip the scales behind the ‘King of Pop’s’ decision to marry Deiondra.
