Is Deion Sanders doing the right thing by stepping in to help Warren Sapp with his wild lifestyle?

Buffaloes grad assistant Warren Sapp isn’t afraid of anything. Pythons? Fish? These are not problems for Sapp. This fearlessness is exactly why Deion Sanders is concerned. While both Florida boys enjoy a good swamp trophy, Sapp, the legendary “QB-Killa,” is elevating things to a new level.

Years after his playing days were over, Sapp is soaking up the spotlight with the Buffaloes as a grad assistant. However, Coach Prime, understandably, does not want his Pro Bowl-honored staffer to get injured before the Big 12 season kicks off. Sapp’s wild adventures are compelling Sanders to take some bold steps, at least online.

On July 9th, Deion Sanders posted a collage of Sapp holding massive, wild-looking fish catches, and he even had a bow and arrow in his hands. Only God knows what he was doing with that. “Please help me harness @WarrenSapp,” Coach Prime pleaded jokingly, calling Sapp the “New Outdoors McGuyver/Crocodile Dundee.”

This is not the first time Sapp’s love for the extreme has worried Sanders. A few months ago, he posted a video of Sapp catching a giant python with his bare hands. “Will somebody tell @WarrenSapp we need him this season and we can’t risk a snakebite?” Deion Sanders wrote in horror. “As for me, ‘AIN’T NO WAY! Snakes and Rats I don’t play with.'” Sapp, ever the jokester, replied, “We Going Today,” and even tagged Sanders along for some good catches.

Interestingly, Sapp and Sanders embarked on an adventure together just a week ago. However, there were no snakes or alligators involved. Just some good old-fashioned fishing.

Warren Sapp and Deion Sanders’ fishing adventures

Deion Sanders might have tamed Warren Sapp’s wild side – for a little while at least. In early July, Sanders posted some fishing pictures on his Instagram with the caption, “Great day of catching with @WarrenSapp & his incredible friends!”

Coach Prime even showed off his catches for the day, bragging about “The PEACOCK Bass, Bass & the Fish I caught was the Bomb.” He then launched into a hilarious description of a unique fish he snagged: “The Peacock Bass & the Blue Gill had s*x and created an awesome fish I caught also that I don’t recall the name of… biggest Blue gill/PeaCock Bass combo I’ve ever seen!”

While Sanders was proud of his catch, it seems Warren Sapp stole the show. “I hadn’t caught my DREAMBASS THE PEACOCK BASS, but @WarrenSapp has!” Deion Sanders wrote, giving props to his grad assistant for landing the prize fish.

This lighthearted fishing trip might be enjoyable, but Sanders still seems on edge about Sapp’s adventurous spirit. After all, who can forget the time Sapp was bitten by a shark while lobster hunting in 2016? Luckily, he was not seriously hurt, but it serves as a reminder of the crazy situations Sapp can get himself into.
