The otherwise cool and level-headed Lincoln Riley was not mincing his words as he made his angst felt all over! Sign stealing under no circumstances is part of the footballing game. Already the NCAA’s image is tarnished with Michigan’s sign stealing and the controversy surrounding the issues. Now, as the new development comes to the surface. It might be one of the worst phases of the NCAA competition. As per Riley, Utah never plays fairly. He said, “An opponent we’ve played against multiple times, an opponent that we know that does a good job trying to grab signals.” Lincoln further concluded his strong statement by saying, “That kind of stuff has been going on forever”.

Some might argue that Lincoln is just adding spice to the sign-stealing controversy. There’s another group of individuals who believe that why’s the HC bringing these things to light now. Having already competed against Utah on numerous occasions, why does the HC feel the urge to throw punches?
