“I think they will be a Bowl team.” The Athletic’s Max Olson confidently claimed about Colorado. While the rest of the NCAA is busy doubting Deion Sanders and Co.’s skill after their shoddy 4-8 record in the previous season, Olson believes that Colorado might be brewing a winning team silently despite having a dirty exposing episode with Cormani McClain. The transfer portal commits to Colorado are a testament to that. Two particular transfers who stood out for the senior NFL scout were Dallan Hayden and Rashad Amos because of the promise they brought to Colorado.
Unfortunately, the hope of these two bolstering the O-line would have to be limited to just Dallan Hayden since Rashad Amos has made a shocking announcement. Amos took to his X to announce that he would be on the move again and flipping to Ole Miss. “I’d like to thank everybody for the support. This has not been for the faint-hearted. I like to thank all the coaches who have poured into me throughout this process. I really appreciate it. Finding the best fit isn’t a simple task on and off the field. I had a lot to consider thus far. After speaking on that, I would like to decommit from Colorado. Thank you to everyone,” Amos tweeted. Fortunately, for Deion Sanders, this transfer tweet didn’t turn out to be as brutal as the ones before it. Cormani McClain’s de-commit announcement was where the flood of criticism against Colorado began. Amos’s tweet could be from where Deion Sanders and Co. can earn their reputation back.
The former Miami (Ohio) running back marks another phenomenal loss for Deion Sanders and Co. The 6-foot-2, 234-pounder appeared in just 13 games in his 3-season, recording 1075 yards with 13 touchdowns. The reason is that Amos basically lived in the transfer portal over the past two seasons. Starting in 2020, his first stop was South Carolina.

After bidding his farewell to Miami (OH), Amos committed to Mississippi State for two weeks before flipping to Colorado. Now, Amos would (most likely) play for the Rebels under the guidance of head coach Lane Kiffin and Co. While it was a loss for Colorado, it still brought some positivity to Colorado.
Rashad Amos’ message a savior for Deion Sanders
Amos’s message comes as the redeeming beacon of hope to Deion Sanders amid all the allegations being hurled at them. The positive goodbye words from Amos aided Colorado score a point against all the dirt Cormani McClain had thrown at them. McClain’s claims of Sanders playing for the “clicks” were further strengthened by Xavier Smith’s claims against Colorado.
The drama peaked when Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders entered the X battlefield. Shedeur Sanders’ “He was mid at the best,” comment for Smith and Deion Sanders defending his son’s action saying “He would be drafted top-5 in the draft next year” brought those extra spicy remarks about the father-son duo. The backlash their comments generated made it all too worse for Shedeur and Prime. Analysts started blaming Deion Sanders for being biased, among other brutal things. Amos’s good word for Prime aided them in bringing a part of their lost credibility back.
