There seems to be an unspoken rift between father Deion and his son Shilo since they don’t look to be united during the tough time for the Colorado safety. Shilo Sanders is in deep trouble over a $12 million lawsuit from a security officer at his former training academy, while Deion looks to be nonchalant and on a weekend getaway.
Shilo Sanders is being sued by John Darjean for causing permanent injuries to him during an assault in 2015. The lawsuit claims that Shilo severely assaulted John, which resulted in him suffering from a broken neck, damage to his cervical spine, permanent neurological injuries, and irreversible incontinence. Additionally, Darjean’s lawsuit was settled by the court, which ruled that Shilo would have to pay a hefty sum of $11.9 million in damages. After this, Shilo declared bankruptcy since his overall net worth was told to be at $300k when in reality he’s a millionaire. Ill luck and misfortune have dawned over Shilo Sanders, but more so than that, Deion’s ignorance would hurt him more than anything.

Is the Sanders lifestyle too much for Shilo? Seems like it might be true after all, after his latest filing to absolve $11.89 million. However, life is still moving on for Father Sanders. As per the latest post uploaded by Deion Sanders, he was out and about on a weekend trip with the likes of Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, and the rest of the team. Moreover, the “leadership retreat” seems to imply that all the leading players and the members of the organization were present and yet, Shilo was absent, thus making it seem like there are some heated tensions between the father-son duo.

The post saw Deion surrounded by several members of the Buffs’ management with the caption reading, “Great weekend with our @cubuffsfootball Leadership Group. Thank you to all whom made this weekend possible. Especially @robertfredericksmith and his staff. God bless and thank u JESUS. #CoachPrime”
The team looks to be in Lincoln Hills and ironically enough, Shilo seems to be missing from the group picture as his announcement of bankruptcy weighs heavy on his football career. With all that said, here is a look at what Darjean, the plaintiff, had to say about the shocking revelations against Deion Sanders and how he tampered with the original footage of the incident.

The shocking truth about Deion Sanders’ involvement comes to light
The Sanders family and even Shilo himself went on to live life as usual after the disturbing events of 2015. Even after brutally beating down a man, causing permanent damage, he got to get away with it and be sheltered by all the gold and the riches that come with being the son of Deion Sanders. But as for Darjean, the trajectory of his entire life took a shocking turn when a 15-year-old Shilo lost his control.
More so than the humiliation of it all, he was released from the academy and the Steve Harvey program, where he was a basketball coach to the youngsters. His family saw some dark days too since the camp that Dajean used to send his children to would sever ties with the family over the controversial case, where he was the victim.

9 years later, the revelations are coming to light and Dajean’s truth is revealed on the Jason Whitlock show. As per Dajean, Deion allegedly stole the videotape of the incident, tampered with it, and submitted it to TMZ to claim that it was the officer, who was actually the aggressor.
One of Dajean’s statements was, “He didn’t come visit me in the hospital, he didn’t say, “Hey man, I know my son did you wrong.” He flipped the script and sent a piece of video to TMZ and said I was the aggressor.” While no comment has been made on this by Deion or Shilo, the lawsuit is still in favor of Dajean, who will receive his settlement money soon. However, we will have to wait and see how Shilo’s bankruptcy filing unfolds.
