Uh-oh! Kirby Smart might have gotten himself into a huge mess. Thanks to the recklessness of Georgia players, Kirby Smart and Co. find themselves at the helm of some intense criticism from the crowds. It is almost like a pattern of repetitive behavior that the Athens fans are starting to notice in the Georgia players, delivering crushing blows to their hard-earned reputation. An almost undefeated score of 14-1 and cementing their names as one of the top seeds in the CFB. Now, because of the off-field impulsiveness of their players, Kirby Smart is bearing the burn. The burn is intense, where fans are coming at him without any filters or mercy, commenting things like “Can they just change their abbreviation from UGA to DUI?” 

DUI, or driving under the influence as it is called, has been a repetitive problem among Georgia players. Per the fresh reports, state 2 Georgia players were arrested on Thursday morning under reckless driving and misdemeanor charges. Both the incidents were different but had reckless driving as a common charge. Athens-Clarke County Police booked Georgia LB Smael Mondon under the charges of racing and reckless driving on the highways. On the other hand, UGA police booked OT Bo Hughley on charges of reckless driving and failure to maintain lane/improper driving on the road.

It was just in March 2024, about 3 months earlier, that another Georgia player, RB Trevor Etienne was arrested by Athens-Clarke County Police for DUI and three other driving offenses. Sources believed that the bail amount of Etienne went over $1,800. By now, the fans know the pattern; it’s rash driving that is getting the Georgia players in trouble. Fans are not sparing Kirby Smart and Co. the embarrassment of it either, as they come at them from all directions, urging Coach Smart to look into this matter.

Fans ‘not shocked’ by Georgia players’ actions.

The first time such an incident came into the limelight, it might have been overwhelming for the fans. The second time, however, they started catching onto the ‘pattern’. This time, instead of expressing genuine concern, the fans began criticizing Georgia’s poor management and tough students, and indirectly, Kirby Smart.

“Georgia football players driving like a normal human being challenge: IMPOSSIBLE” a user commented on X, expressing the pent-up frustration of the Bulldogs’ fans with the careless accidents. The people chiming in with their pent-up frustration were no less, as another user said that all of it was, “Starting to get ridiculous at this point.”

“GET IT TOGETHER DAWGS,” was another loud and clear cry of the die-hard Bulldogs fans whereas some others were just completely chilled out about it, as if it’s a routine. “I assure u nobody is shocked,” a user said nonchalantly.

However, whenever there’s any allegation, there are some fans who come up with the most hilarious jokes. Taking the opportunity, some fans came up with a hilariously unique suggestion of “Alright, new policy. All UGA players need to take Ubers everywhere from now on.” Another user built on it, extending the joke to NIL saying, “UGA next NIL deal: Uber.” Jokes aside, Kirby Smart needs to take some action against it now or else he might have to bear an even worse burn than this.
